The builders of this momentous project had a dilemma. They had miles of back of house corridors leading from the loading bays to the individual shop units. They needed the most durable flooring available on the market; they also needed the floor to be laid and fully cured within an hour of being laid.
A constant stream of men, machinery and materials are delivered along these corridors 24 hours a day seven days a week and so DAMA specified a quartz resin system that is so strong that it did not need protection during the construction phase. Heavy scissor lifts were in operation on the floor within two hours of it being laid.
